Quick report

Extremely warm nights made skiing a somewhat pointless endeavor, the snow was some of the worst I've ever "skied." Snowpack in GNP is low, south faces are melted to 6000 feet in some cases. We could skin from 4800 onwards above the loop, about a mile walk to put skis on from the road. No instability observed, minimal rollerballing even though it was so warm, saw no crowns in the surrounding mountains. Wet sluffs would run when skiing steeper terrain.Extremely low snowpack looking east of the divide.
