-
I did not notice any collapsing today. No cracking either. That said I did dig a quick pit which cracked at the old snow/weed intterface with not much effort.

Went to Little Water Peak today to see if the bowl had run on its own during the storm. It had not. I chose not to tease the kitty and let the bowl be. I did not even get any cracking when peering into it.
It's all about the weather as usual. The warming trend is baking out the weak layers. However the junk on or near the ground is still there. Seems like the steep north is just waiting for a little push to start it moving.
I rate as considerable but that is totally location dependent. Things are trending in the right direction.
Snowpack
Dense powder on the surface.
The snow pack is consolidating and not as "punchy" as yesterday. Along with this is a better ride on more gentle angled terrain.
