We went into Broads Fork and had a great day with stable snow and sunny skies. We still played it safe (mini golf), as we found the dust layer to still have some faceted snow that was soft just underneath. Plenty of people rode Bonkers and Stairs gulch with no avalanches.
The snowpit was on a north-facing slope at 8,000'. The HS was 245 cm. We did an extended column test with no results.
