Triggered this avalanche on the north facing side of Grandeur Peak just above 7000ft in elevation. It failed on a density inversion about 8 to 10 inches down in the new snow then quickly stepped down to the old snow, new snow interface. I was a little surprised on how fast it ran, and the width of it.
