- <p>It seems as though the winds have blown out of every direction recently and wind loaded slopes, but saw no activity. No other red flags. </p>

- <p>Yesterday on Rodeo I was able to find buried surface hoar with 5-6 inches of new snow on top, but really did not present a problem now as there was no real slab, could be a factor in the future. New surface hoar formed last night in protected areas. </p> <p>There is wind slab on many faces of the compass off of the upper ridge but nothing seemed very sensitive as I ski cut and stomped on a lot of slopes the past two days. </p>
Very wind affected on the exposed ridges. soft dry powder can still be found in the protected areas at mid-elevations. The rain crust is supportable below about 6200ft. and above 7000ft. it is mostly gone and easily skied through in protected areas.
