Quick report
The fire road in and out of Huntington required one ~75 yard hike through/along the creek about 2/3s of the way up but was otherwise skiable/skinable. In South Gully we found good snow quality below the choke. Above the choke it was mostly ice although more manageable than expected on account of the warmer temps. The choke will be skiable for a few more days but the hole that forms at the bottom is about to break through (there is a large indent with some collapsed snow/ice now). We witnessed a near miss sliding fall here as a skier had to be arrested on a rope after losing an edge during a belay ski through the choke and was unable to self arrest. The fan beneath Central had the best turns of the day with plenty of snow and seemingly less ice beneath. We witnessed a party ski over the ice bulge and they said above it was barely holding on and required careful navigation to avoid rocks. Pinnacle Gully seemed in but had a couple large holes in the ice and water could be heard running underneath. Lower down in Odell's was as thick as I had ever seen and had a couple of parties climbing it throughout the day, poor visibility limited observations of the top third.
