Quick report

Large (R3, D2) avalanche on NE facing slope at 9300’. There was some recent signs of smaller slabs 5”-8” deep from the previous nights snowfall. I ski cut the slope (red circle) and the slope released approx 24” deep, down to a very firm bed surface from the dry/warm spell last week. The red line depicts the first slide, with a 18”-36” crown. As it ran, it triggered the lower bowl (blue line) with a 18” crown. The lower slide filled in the gully below with a few feet of debris.
