Snowpack
A week+ long dry spell With persistent slab still an issue. I have not skied in this area yet this year but have been told it has seen a lot of skier traffic and east warmed up enough for a crust. Snowed probably a foot on this, though felt deeper and shallower in spots because of all the wind. There was cracking in obvious spots where the wind was blowing

Was climbing ridge first path of palace, was definitely walking on edge to see if would go. No collapse noted but saw it pull out a hundred feet ahead of me, 20" deep at tallest but a foot average depth of storm snow. Probably 100-200 feet wide and ran to bottom of run (1000 feet). Was thinking it was r2 d2. The bed surface felt like a melt-freeze
