Quick report
Foggy conditions gave way to partly sunny skies by late morning. Shady slopes remained cold and dry while sunny aspects became moist in the PM. Winds were calm to light from the east in the AM and clocked to the west in the PM but remained light. Minimal wind loading that was mostly confined to terrain above 6500'. Wind slabs we cut were unreactive. No recent slab avalanches observed nor any cracking or collapsing in the snowpack. Loose snow avalanche activity began late morning/early afternoon on steep slopes on solar aspects. Limited to D1-D1.5 size
