Quick report
Multiple forms of precipitation observed on the way up LCC today. Light rain fell up to 7800' around tanners flat campground, then switched to a rain/snow mix from 7800' to 8500'. At 8800' 3-4.5 mm graupel fell on isothermic snow, where I found significant boot penetration when I took my skis off. Variable skiing conditions at the upper elevations with widespread wet snowpack.
