Quick report
Stability tests prove that the persistent weak layers are resistant to fail, but outliers in pit tests continue to keep it on the radar. Old wind slabs have bonded well and were unreactive.
Some near surface faceting observed
Saw 2 new glide cracks- 1 on Sunset Peak (East facing) and 1 near Tiger Peak (South facing)

Low clouds lingered in valleys, but above the broken valley fog was a beautiful bluebird day, with few-scattered clouds. Winds were light even on ridge lines. Temps hung around the low 20's in the morning and warmed slightly to mid 20's in the afternoon.
Snowpack
In pits dug at 5300' and 6700', we observed both snowpacks to be generally right side up and no propagation in any ECTs. At 5300' on a West aspect HS was 177cm and the solstice rain crust was 75cm down. The crust was very degraded and produced no failures, but did come off easily with a shovel sheer in the middle of the degraded crust. At 6700' on a West facing aspect HS was 210, and the closest rain crust to the surface was over 1 meter deep. East, West, and South aspects all had some degree of a very fragile sun crust that likely formed from 1/7.
