Quick report

Started my tour around 11am from the Tenderfoot road. There was snow at the road elevation. The start was patchy but decent enough coverage for skinning and skiing. A stout melt freeze crust of about 5 inches supported skis. It was softening just enough at this time to skin with good grip without ski crampons. At about 3000ft there is a long section of tundra to walk before getting back on snow. I toured to 4700ft and at 3pm descended a west face with perfect corn. My impression of the snow stability was that it was very good. It was a really nice tour.
