Quick report
Wonderful day of skiing on Tin Can. Rain days at Tin Can have a special place in my heart. Today it was raining to about 1500 feet (rain line was bottom of standard Tree lap). The entire Tree lap was quite bad mashed potato snow. Above 2K ish feet the snow transitioned to excellent skiing, a few inches of snow on top of crust as described in yesterdays obs from sunburst. Common Bowl skied excellently. Two small convexities on the skiers left side of common bowl released with skier trigger on the new snow-crust interface. Neither slide entrained much snow or ran far. Overall, wonderful skiing above 2K. Quite bad skiing with high ACL tear potential below that level. No phone today, so no photos.
