Quick report
- Breakable crust layer starting at Cathedral Rock Trailhead past Hyas Lakes - Snow then softened from warming, with some sections of extreme glopping on skins even after skin wax applied - Mt. Daniel glacier the snow was excellent! Very stable, right side up, and only small point trigger release from trees and rocks warming in the sun - we had mostly sun all day, but a low cloud/wind weather system rolled in at our transition point at 7,430’ - overall stability was excellent
