Quick report

Cracking
isolated

Snow was super hard in the morning. Booted almost all the way from the valley to the summit of Sasse Mountain. In the afternoon I did laps on the slope to the right of where I saw the avy. In some shady northerly aspects there was soft snow that hadn't quite turned to corn. Otherwise it was corn skiing all the way down. The fs road on the western slope of Sasse is mostly skiable now but I doubt it will stay that way long. Below 4000' patchy, above that highly aspect dependant. South facing slopes were bare.

Wet loose avy occurring on a nearly due north slope, the only aspect where soft snow remains. Some looked recent, some looked older.
