Quick report

Wet loose human triggered slides. Rollers off cornices. Wind loading/slabs

Avalanche

2-3” of new light density snow on crust. Climbed to Mazama bowl and noted wind effect with loaded features. Several large cornices and what looked like it could have been a crack led us to quickly rule out the upper steeper section of the bowls. We watched the first group climb up and triggers a wet loose slide. The second group dropped in the moderate angle east facing area and also triggered loose wet. We started right at 930 and the sun was already warming. We elected to lap the low angle bowl and it skied amazing! Snow was quite warm and wet by 1pm.
