Incline Lake Peak

I found signs of the spring melt-freeze cycles everywhere I traveled today. Some of the most shaded spots held thin and ski-supportable refreeze crusts, but wet surface snow existed everywhere else, even on the N aspects up to the top of Incline Lake Peak at ~9500 ft by 11 am. Ski cuts on steep slopes triggered roller balls, 3 ft pinwheels, and shallow wet snow sluffs. These occurred on N-NE-E-SE aspects between 10 am and 12:30 pm. The cornices along the Incline Peak ridgeline also showed signs of melting, including icicles and actively dripping water on the underside of the cornice. 

I saw a D1 wet loose avalanche on the SE side of Incline Lake Peak that may have occurred on 4/8 or 4/9.
