Thick low clouds and fog. Poor visibility. Freezing rain below ~4500ft. Winds were light to calm.
Snowpack
Below the dusting of new snow, all slopes were covered with a soft, breakable crust. At 5,000ft, near the top of the Skyline lift, I found HS 103cm. The were 2 crusts in the top 15cm from the Dec 10th rain which were breakable, not fully frozen. A thicker, more stout crust from the Dec 5 rain event was in the middle of the snowpack. The bottom 24cm was surprisingly soft, at 4 Finger+ hardness. The entire snowpack was moist.
