Lots of wind movement and loading on most aspects. Variable snow conditions and depth , e.g. extremes of bare ground (ridge in trees) to 80 cm just below the ridge.
ECT failed on 4 taps across the entire 1-meter length on the 4-fist layer at 55 cm (above ground). Mild energy, slumped a little, moved a few inches, but not off the column. Shovel compression test punched through and eventually failed 5-15 taps on the 4F layer at 40 cm.
Only had one audible collapse the entire day on the first climb up from the parking lot. Nothing else. Wind slabs where they exist, held a single skier.
