Around 4:45pm today, we skied down debris from a massive avalanche that ran the mid to lower section of Maybird Couloir. We couldn't see what caused it, but assume it was a cornice fall above the rocks. We saw no other tracks entering any aspect of the couloir. Did some beacon searching just in case. It ran at least 1.5k feet.
