Quick report
Quick lap descending from skiers right of Half Bowl joining the gut about halfway down. Aspects tested were NW through N below treeline. Dug a quick and dirty pit and isolated a column near the top (N aspect, trending towards NW), no results. HS ~185 cm. Looked for any obvious faceted layer in the snowpack and found nothing pronounced. No cracking or collapsing at any point on the tour. Variable snow conditions with crusts on the more western aspects and decent snow in more due N aspects. Looked into 1st bowl, and saw no evidence of loose wets but could not see much of the NE facing aspects of 1st.
