There was a lot more snow accumulation overnight that we expected. This new snow was dry, loose, and deep - making for excellent riding conditions. The new snow was generally unconsolidated, and we did not observe any obvious signs of a storm slab. We did witness a number of dry sloughs that ran further than expected.
