Thompson Pass Corridor

There has been concerning avalanche activity through Thompson Pass over the last 24 hours. Naturally releasing persistent slabs in many areas indicate dangerous conditions through through Thompson Pass corridor. Signs of instability underfoot may not be present even though this hazard exists. Careful terrain management is strongly recomended if you get out into the mountains.  

Most notably, there were numerous large persistent slab avalanches through Thompson Pass Corridor that had released naturally over the last 24 hours. Fractures where long and iregular crossing terrrain features and connecting to low angle slopes in some instances. We observed large avlanches on Tones Temple, Oddesey, Little Oddesey, N Catchers mitt. There were also smaller windslabs that had released naturally scaterred through isolated terrain.
