Quick report
5-6” of new snow up on the pass, medium density, good skiing. Still some sage poking out but generally not a problem with the weekend’s snow settled out and this new storm snow on top. I mostly re-broke an old skin track from before this last storm, but when I stepped off it for a bit to break new trail, I didn’t observe any cracking or collapsing. There was some evidence of wind on the upper portion of the slope but not enough to create wind slabs where I was at. A brief snow squall dropped another inch or so while I was up there, with sun starting to poke out by the time I left around 9:30.
