Quick report
No snow falling out of trees, was shaded and cold everywhere but the open lake. Was able to get an edge in to tour with skis on under powerlines. Once we crossed into the trees the surface was more uneven and difficult to skin without ski crampons. It was a icy coming down Silver Fir None

Stayed cold all day. At hyak lake there was sun, but it was not breaking down the surface hoar.
Snowpack
Firm snowpack with 1-1.5 cm crust followed by facets. Top layer frequently found surface hoar from 2880-3600ft. Did not warm up and soften anywhere. Crust was supportable and safe going over creeks.
