Poked around Stormy's this afternoon. Light snow with a breeze at the upper radio tower. Crust supportable for skis, penetrable with boots. 10-20cm fresh snow on top of the crust in open areas made for great skiing. Trees are still tricky, with only 5-10cm of snow on top of an icy crust. Lots of ice chunks, small trees/slide alder, downed logs, and other early season obstacles still present in wooded areas.
