Quick report
27 degrees F, light snow/freezing rain. Dug a pit at 5000' on north aspect just below the ridge, 30° slope. CT 12 at 20 cm, cracks at storm layers ( CT 14 at 45 cm, 21 at 50 cm, 29 at 70 cm). Only the top layer slid very easily. Decent skiing, 30° slopes, pretty hard crust on top from freezing rain, some decent snow in the trees on the north side of the ridge. Signs of a lot of wind. No avalanche activity observed.
