Quick report
Observed small shooting cracks on thin, isolated wind slab on west and southwest slopes. Observed small D1, dry loose avalanche on west facing slope at about 9000 feet. Observed clear buried surface hoar buried 35cm deep in one of three snow pits on west aspects. Experienced cracking and settling on thin, isolated wind slab on west facing aspect.

Clear day, cold morning but warmed up to around freezing by mid afternoon. Light, swirly winds on the ridge.
Snowpack
Dug test pits as a part of avy 2 class. Pit dug at top of east ridge of Beehive Basin. 9310ft elevation west aspect with a 16 degree slope at 2 pm.Performed extended column test. Results were an ECTP14 with the layer of concern being burried surface hoar 35 cm deep. This layer seemed to be somewhat isolated on the west aspect, as it was only detected in 1/3 pits on this slope.
Avalanche
Saw a small D1, dry loose avalanche on west aspect of east ridge in Tylers chute. Appeared to be skier triggered.
