Quick report
A warm day in the Jewel. Cloud cover kept everything relatively cool, once the sun came out mashed potatoes turned to deep mashed potatoes. Wet loose were observed up high in rocky terrain. Cornice lined the NE-E ridgetops. Skied a NW bowl, 30-35 degrees, 6400 ft elevation, open trees. Skiers triggered two small wet slab avalanches. Snow was saturated. Fresh roller balls were observed around 11:30 when the clouds cleared.
