- <p>This was the obvious one today... Triggered wind slabs in the 2 to 3 foot deep range appeared likely on drifted slopes. </p>
The fresh snow was inverted, or heavier and wind affected on top. You would sink deeply into the soft fresh snow. Travel difficult and slow in drifted terrain.
