Observation: Meadows

Just a quick comment on snow without photos, sorry. Touring up Matt's Basin to Meadow Chutes ridgeline, a quick pole pit showed new snow was sitting atop NSF and with a little pull from the arm could get it to pry out. Not the cleanest of shears, but sheltered north could be suspect once things end up slabbing up, which seems likely with the weather moving in. East facing meadow chutes were taking wind, though weren't slabbing up on the faces while we were there. Though late afternoon could have been a different story, exit of lower breakovers on Football Fields was already getting a bit of wind skin upon our exit.
