Snow from the past storms has sat long enough to facet. Some surface hoar developed over the weekend, and persists where capped by a thin, 1-2" wind slab and in wind sheltered areas.

An overview shot of northerly facing slopes. Coverage and depth are getting more worrisome, with potential for the faceted snow to be a problem with a load of new snow. Basically, everything white on mid and upper elevation slopes is faceted snow - which will generally act as a weak layer when it finally gets loaded. Any remaining snow on southerly facing slopes has gone through a couple of melt-freeze cycles.

A flipped piece of wind slab, with facets and surface hoar sticking to the bottom.

Cracky thin wind slab.
