Before touring up the Moby Dick Ridge we stopped to dig a snowpit. SE Aspect @ 9000' we had HS 190 along with an ECTP 24 60cm down on the 2/2 facet layer. As we ascended the ridge we have one major collapse (whump) along with active blowing snow.
