Toured up notch from the powder hut, a hundred yards up from the hut, we felt whumphing and collapsing on almost every step. Dug a pit at the top of Rockstar (2200ft W aspect) and got ECTP18 down 70-80cm on a planar sugary surface. In the photo the bottom arrow points to the layer the ECT propagated on, and the top arrow points to the obvious surface hoar layer.
