Quick report

While flying today, we observed a large crown on Roberts Peak, but limited avalanche activity in Icy Gulch; the cornices in that drainage - similar aspect to the one on Roberts - are alive and well, and the exit has not yet filled in with debris. Along the Juneau ridge there were small wet loose and shallow crowns in the recent storm snow. The wind appears to be keeping the ridgetops cooler for now.

Large crown on the NW face of Roberts Peak that looked to have been triggered by cornice fall and stepped down to a deeper layer. The crown depth is estimated to be 1m on average.
