Glide cracks are definitely still widening and releasing. Today I saw glide crack release avalanche paths and debris on the south faces of Sunburst and Cornbiscuit that I do not think I saw on Monday, 11/11. This was reinforced when I saw a large (D2) glide crack release avalanche crown and debris on the south face of Magnum that definitely did not exist when I skied that exact slope on Monday. Also, the glide crack that was next to the skintrack on Monday has now opened much wider and split the skintrack (see pics). Most of the glide crack avalanches I saw were big (D2+) and ran a long ways in steep terrain. Also shooting cracks on moderately steep wind-loaded terrain on a high, prominent ridgeline late in the afternoon. In this spot, winds were scouring the west side of the ridge and loading the east. Another party said they triggered a small (6-8" thick) soft slab without consequence in steep terrain around noon.
