Quick report
I walked up the summer trail in running shoes to get a look at the June Mountain backcountry before the weather pattern changes.
There was very little snow until I reached the Yost Meadow basin. At this point, I found a consistent 6 to 10 inches except for on the most solar aspects. Wind effect was less than some other nearby basins, and all of the snow that I touched was faceted through down to a melt/freeze crust near the ground.
Overall, this is a poor structure and setup in anticipation of new snow.

Increasing clouds and light southwest winds that looked more like moderate up on ridges. Temperatures were well above freezing and the increase in humidity was noticeable.
Snowpack
Essentially non-existent below 8500 feet.
More snow than I expected up in the basin - 6 to 10 inches on average at 9200 feet.
Limited wind effect. All of the snow that I touched was faceted, although it felt a bit moist with the clouds and humidity.
