Conducted snow pit analysis on NW facing aspect. - Total snow depth was 57cm - Ambient Temp 23 degrees Fahrenheit A faceted layer was found 37cm below the surface of the snow. The facets were large grain and angular with apparent signs of sintering. Conducted a compression test with no collapsing. A second pit was dug 20 meters away on the NE aspect which did collapse at 5 taps.
