Winds were much higher than predicted, especially out of the West contributing to a lot of snow being transported and refilling the bootpack quickly. Around 12” of low density powder on the way down. We did get some cracking as it started to slab up on convex terrain features. The snow was getting slabbier as time went on. Cracking occured in small slabs 1-3”deep on specific features (rollovers).
