Morning tour to the PC ridgeline. Trailbreaking was 6-8” of dense snow. Cracking around skis on most steps. On and off snow gave way to continuous snow. Gusting 40mph plus on ridge from S/SE and scouring the ridge and depositing lee into the PC side at impressive rates.
Small cracks on a few slope cuts that were high 30 degrees, but no action.
Large cross loaded cornices forming on sub ridges 400 feet below main ridge. Didn’t know mid-willow was capable of collecting this much snow.
