Day started cloudy w/snow then cleared. Winds were from wnw averaging 20-25mph on ridgetop. Winds eased after storm cleared.
Snowpack
Settling was occuring below treeline on uptrack in heavily treed N facing low angle slopes. Hasty pit and ski cuts revealed buried surface hoar layer approx. 12" deep.
