Saw the crown of a very large avalanche on chair peak north slopes that must have come down in the last week. New storm snow was touchy and falling away on kick turns. Set off some very small slabs underfoot while skinning up the final chute to the ridge. Also witnessed a remarkably wide propagation on south slopes of chair that looked to have come down during storm last night
