Wanted to try the highway shoots today, but got there too late. North aspects at 8800 feet were still firm and ski supportable at 11. But by the time I transitioned and dropped into the highway shoots at 11:15 the SE aspect was total mush and unsupportable, I released multiple large Rollar balls, up to 2-3 feet in diameter. I tried to move to a more Eastward face, but the snow conditions continued to soften and get more sticky the lower I went.
