Bench Weather Station

The purpose of this trip was to assess weather station damage caused by the Bench Fire. Sadly, a partial rebuild is required, but I'm happy to report that the resident pika was unharmed. 

Snow from September and October storms held on shaded upper elevations in all ranges but appeared to be deeper in the Sawtooth and White Clouds than the Boulders or  Smokys.
