Did a quick morning tour up to Pineapple Basin. Was lightly snowing in the morning and there was a nice thin dusting of new snow. Dug a pit 150cm down for a snow profile and column tests. Elevation:4600ft Aspect: NW Incline: 15 Sky: Obscured Wind: Calm Surface: smooth Ski pen: 5cm Boot Pen: 30cm Air Temp: -2 C HS- ranged from 250cm- 3meters Found 13cm of low density snow on top of a 2cm pencil hard crust. Under that crust was 24cm of 4F hardness on top of the monster crust layer I believe to be now considered to ground. I found that crust layer to be 70cm thick, not uniform, ranging from pencil to knife hard, with Pencil hard rounded grains underneath. Test results: CT16 Q2 ⬇️25 ECTP15 ⬇️30 - Resistant Planar
