Quick report

PSA: there’s a concealed crevasse opening up on the West Crater Rim descent roughly across from the exposed hot rocks. Departed T-Line’s climber lot at 4:45 am, got to Illumination Saddle ~7:15 am, and to the true summit at 1:15 pm. At the bottom of the Leuthold couloir, there was one visible bergschrund, no other visible crevasses. Lots of unconsolidated snow (knee to waist deep which resulted in slow bootpacking). Lucky Leuthold adventurers will find a lovely bootpack for Sunday (4/5). Sun was starting to hit the Leuthold couloir around ~11 am. Saw signs of warming from day before - lots of pinballs. Experienced typical shedding but no major icefall. Descended via Old Chute, put our skis on at the end of Old Chute and descended via West Crater Rim ~2 pm. Lots of heavy, wet snow that generated pinballs as my group descended.
