In addition to the many small - medium slabs that appear to have released on the new snow old snow interface on south facing low elevations in the Tincan Creek zone, noticed some releases on north facing higher slopes from the road, in particular the north face of Tincan. But saw no connected crowns from the road or skin track other than the many small ones in Tincan Creek in photos I included. Some evidence of light wind affect up high but still skied well, and saw no reactive signs in higher elevations. Felt hot on south facing things in the afternoon - not quite wet sloppy but starting to get some slight sun affect down low.

Many D1 and smaller slabs released I assume during storm down in Tincan Creek south facing zone. 6-8 inch crowns in general - the widest was maybe 50 feet wide? Many smaller ones (10-20 feet) that didn’t run that far. Saw one crown that looked skiier triggered on the same aspect - maybe 40 feet wide? Wider? Appeared to be the new snow releasing on facets. Didn’t see anything that seemed to have stepped down. Also - all this activity was on unsupported south facing slopes and I know there was some sun effect pre this storm - I’m curious if the reason there was so much concentrated activity in this zone and aspect was because of a sun crust that it fell on? Did not further investigate / just a thought. Also got one whoompf off the skin track, right above the creek. Could have just been an alder pocket - didn’t feel a huge collapse just a little one.
