Quick report

Took two laps on Tincan - one on the sunny side and one on the shady side. Sunny side skied a little better, with more consistency and what seemed like more snow. We noted a few skier triggered loose and one older looking glide-type pocket. On the shadier side of the ridge, signs of the wind were more apparent. Snow was certainly drier, but the ridge was thinner and more scoured. Dropping off the ridge gave way to a mix of wind stiffened snow, textured surfaces, and well settled powder. The thin crust below the surface we noted yesterday at Magnum was more noticeable while skiing on the shady side today. We observed a recent debris pile with no obvious trigger except that it came out of some rocks. There maybe is a subtle crown in there. Likely natural. Definitely warmer than yesterday. Wind felt similar with no active transport observed.
