Observation: Highline

Went into Mineral Fork and skied in the Highline area. We dug a pit to check the upper snowpack for instabilities. We didn't have any propagation but had some collapsing that we figured was from a density change in the new snow about 25cm down. When we were headed out for the day there was heavy snowfall that could affect things. I would still be suspect of steep slopes near ridge lines/wind effected slopes and just give it a few days but we are set up well and the skiing was outstanding!
