This is two of two natural avalanches viewed from SR31 in Huntington Canyon. Timing is estimated as releasing on the 7th but could have been the 6th. Knowing the current snowpack structure and recent prolonged period of sustained wind it is safe to deduce that these released due to wind drifted snow overloading a slope holding weak faceted snow near the ground. These were well connected avalanches.
